In mid-August, I attended my 20th High School Reunion in Albany, Oregon. Sunday's event was a family picnic at Timber Linn Park, which provided lots of great opportunities to photograph old friends as they showed up with their kids. Mike Ostrum was a friend of mine from school who now lives in Dallas with his family; his grand entrance was with his daughter on his shoulders, showing the proper priorities for a dad! I love the happy, easy-going expression on her face, knowing she's right where she belongs, so much that it makes a great picture in spite of the head in the way in the foreground.
