One of the fun things about taking pictures is looking for unique perspectives on common sights. My interest in photography--and especially in taking pictures of people--really skyrocketed with the birth of my son David, and this is one of the first of his pictures that really shows that alternative perspective, looking at his face from under his safety bar, with his bare feet sticking out, rather than from above as would be more traditional. It's an amateur photo, but I like it!
Here's another photo of David from the same time period--more traditional, but I love the look of pure joy on his face. What could be more motivating to an aspiring photographer?
