Clouds in the Caldera

I received this extraordinary photo by e-mail today. It's not mine--only in my dreams would I be lucky enough to capture a photo like this, and in fact, despite living and working at Crater Lake National Park for almost four years, I never saw anything close to this. A few hints, but nothing this remarkable. The photo is by Corey Wall. The accompanying e-mail sets the stage:
On February 17th, we had an unusual weather event here at Crater Lake: a layer of clouds developed inside the caldera, with blue sky above! Cory Wall happened to be skiing atop Garfield Peak that day, and he snapped a bunch of photos, which he stitched together into the attached panoramic image. Pretty cool!
Pretty cool, indeed.
